straight from the grave

While this dude Dilwyn is sitting on the throne his humerus consists of two parts... which is incorrect. Also the design and animation of the characters is a bit too simplistic. Are you drawing with your mouse?

CallumBowen responds:

sorry i dont understand what you are talking about the humour consisting of two parts, and yesi did use a mouse but remember i started using flash since last year and im still learning, yes im planning to get a graphics tablet when i start back to college again,

Soup, you just got served.

Poor synthetic voices, stupid text, bad visual content, unclear link to external website where you expect a play button... I don't think I am the only one who fails to find a value in this.

SoupSquad responds:

The link says "Join Soup Squad". How did you expect it to play the movie?

an underground job

Hm, it's actually not about Wormy the worm but about Business Professionals of America. I kinda expected something different when I read the title. The art is looking quite good but you need to work on a better timing, that jumping sequence is too hasty. Also the color change looks a bit odd. In other news I would say that the bow tie is actually less present in the world of business and and politics, in contrast to the necktie. - Name's Bond, Wormy Bond.

Nick-The-Holy-Potato responds:

Well thank you.

way to run, uh, go

You should edit the title to tell people its only a WIP or animation loop. Also this demo stuff generally belongs into the dump and the forums.

Despite that it might look promising but you should take a look at humans running, there's a distinctive jump phase in which no leg touches the ground. This here looks like speed walking with headwind. I like the fact you at least put a bit of audio in there.

littlekittysilver responds:

Dude. For starters, I'm not really use to the tablet and telling someone that their hard work belongs in the dump form is really effencive to young artist who are still starting out, I only been animating for the pass 5 months now and in my animation class that I passed with a 94% and 100% on every animation assignment thrown at me as well as I was the best animator there. Let along as I mention in the artist comment, I'm not use to using a tablet.

Secondly, I know how humans run because I spent most my childhood running like hell trying to get away with the people trying to kill me.

Third, this isn't a demo, trust me. I only posted my best work so far on New Grounds when on DeviantArt I'll post anything I think is actually good to be seen.

you got wood

Yup, yup, all good. Though one thing that probably no or few people pointed out yet is the buggy outtakes wherein the audio is looping after its end.
Rest is fair and square.

Jimbo-Limbo responds:

Yo,

Cheers for looking into the special features. Just checked through them again myself and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. If you get a second, could you message me when and where about it happens? That'd be sweet.

Cheers for the review, MATE!

This is one of the many bits of content in the web that I consider being a mangaed to death. Seriously people should first try to develope a feel for their drawings and works and not just blindly rely on copying average manga and anime optics. This is merely another form of AMV and those I personally don't call art.

KappaYoshi315 responds:

In all honesty, it was powered by Bleach. Get your anime right XD
An AMV is mixing non-original work together.
This is the video for the opening credits of my anime. I mean, I could not put music in it, but that wouldn't make much sense would it. Also, the main characters are 100% original. Thanks for your opinion though.

Okay but

The joke doesn't get conveyed really good. You would need to add one or two more numbers being counted down (in the background) as in the original joke telling version. Also the intro could be a bit shorter as it is accompanying a really short scene. Visuals are okay but there's plenty of room for improvements.

JonnyDREDD responds:

Yea I know what you mean about the intro. I did experiment by completely removing it but without it the flash is just too short.
I will make sure I revise it though :P
and with the visuals, believe it or not they have come a long way already, but Im still working on it, and there will most definitely be a huge improvement over my next few submissions.
Thanks for the review :)

Well, hello there. I usually contribute to NG by reviewing your games and videos but if your are searching for another collaborator or some help in graphics stuff outside of flash then feel free to drop me a line!
